- What is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder?
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a learning disorder in young children. Moreover, the symptoms must be present in most of the areas of the child’s life.
Three kinds of ADHD exist:
- ADHD combined type: when the child meets the criteria for both inattention and hyperactivity-impulsivity (for the past six months)
- ADHD predominantly inattention type: when the child meets the criteria for inattention, but not the criteria for hyperactivity-impulsivity (for the past six months)
- ADHD predominantly hyperactive-impulsive type: when the child meets the criteria for hyperactivity-impulsivity, but not the criteria for inattention (for the past six months)

- Attentional deficits
- Impulsivity
- Hyperactivity
